When discussing armor for vehicles, and iPhone is a great analogy.. If you purchased an iPhone 2 years ago, it was the latest and greatest. But the iPhone of today, is significantly more advanced than the iPhone 2 years ago. This is true for armoring technology as well.

US Armor Group has access to all the latest technology/innovations with various types of armor for vehicles and structures. Rest assured, what ever type of armor is required, our clients receive the strongest, lightest and most technologically advanced armor available to eliminate any type of threat.

Not only do we test the latest armoring technology for ourselves, we are often tasked by the US Military, Law Enforcement and SWAT teams to advise, test and give recommendations as to what armoring technology makes sense for their specific mission requirements.

ARMORING LEVELS:

The degree of armoring levels varies and are based on specific mission requirements, potential threats, type of vehicle, location the vehicle and the budget of the client. To determine the correct level of armoring required for each of our clients, we conduct a brief telephone conversation etc.

Vehicles

US Armor often combines the use of AR 500 steel and light wight synthetic armor to help keep costs down, but still allows for the weight of the armor to be less detrimental to vehicle performance. For clients with less restrictive budge, we use the ultra light weight armor for the entire vehicle. * Note, there are a few very small areas on every vehicle that require ballistic steel due to engineering issues such as overlaps (bullet traps around the windows etc.)
US Armor Group makes armored vehicles for the US Military, Government Agencies, and Local Law Enforcement.

This Vehicle was designed by our CEO, Jeff Engen for a SWAT team in California.

It includes a ballistic hatch/shield that allows SWAT operators to be protected outside the vehicle while they use the shield to provide “over watch” and allows them to be able to fire their weapons if necessary from behind the shield.

We also can add gun ports which allows Operators to fire their weapons from inside the vehicle while being completely protected from enemy gunfire.
